Russia is now using North Korean missiles to attack Ukraine. According to an Independent report, the missiles fired by the Russian army on Ukraine are becoming more accurate over time. A Reuters report states that Putin’s army has been using North Korean missiles since the end of 2023. Since then, their accuracy and performance have changed significantly. All of the more than 20 ballistic missiles that attacked Ukraine in the last several weeks fell within 50-100 meters of their target. These missiles are not only aiding Russia but also improving North Korea’s military capabilities.

Attack on Recruitment Center Raises Concerns

An explosion took place at an army recruitment center in the western city of Kamianets-Podilsky, Ukraine. One person was killed, and four others were injured. Regional administrator Sergei Tyurin confirmed the incident. According to Ukrainian police, this was the ninth attack on recruitment centers this year. Authorities allege that the attacker was recruited by Russian agents.

Prisoner Exchange Between Ukraine and Russia

Ukraine and Russia exchanged 150 prisoners of war each on Wednesday. Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that some of the soldiers had been in Russian captivity for more than two years. This exchange was made possible through the mediation of the United Arab Emirates.

Ukraine’s Soldier Losses and Technological Shift

Ukraine has reported that more than 45,000 of its soldiers have been killed in this war. In response, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced the creation of robotic vehicle units to help save soldiers’ lives. These robots can be equipped with weapons, signaling a shift towards advanced warfare technology. Both Ukraine and Russia are utilizing drones and robotic technology in combat operations.

Civilian Casualties Amid Rising Tensions

According to an Al Jazeera report, two people were killed in Russian attacks. Prosecutors in the Dnipropetrovsk region confirmed that one person was killed in Dnipro and another in Kherson. Additionally, six people, including five children, were injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on a school bus in the Vasilivka district, a Russian-controlled part of the Zaporizhia region.

Ukrainian Military Responds to Drone Strikes

The Ukrainian military reported that 65 Russian drones were launched at Ukraine on Wednesday night, of which 37 were intercepted. The attacks caused damage to businesses, a railway depot, and residential areas. The ongoing aerial assaults highlight the escalating intensity of the conflict.
